visit the southside

When you come to Clothesline, plan to spend a bit of time checking out Bethlehem’s southside. Don’t miss our neighbors Comfort & Joy, Home & Planet, and Fox Optical (even if you don’t need glasses, check out their art shows and say hi to Bella the dog!). More than 30 shops and restaurants line Bethlehem’s 3rd and 4th streets. You can drop in for a class at The Yoga Loft, and catch a play at Touchstone Theatre or some tunes at Godfrey Daniels. Or just relax at The Caffeine Café or The Wildflower Café. There’s even ice skating! And if you stop in, we’ll point you to some beautiful hikes in the area.

On the First Friday of each month, all shops are open until 10 pm, and there’s always entertainment, refreshments, or other special events. The southside is also host to other great events throughout the year—check out our news page for details.
