the laundry list: here's what's new at Clothesline Organics

BIG BIG SALE starts Monday, February 18
It’s that time of year again…Clothesline’s 2nd annual BIG BIG SALE is here! We’ll have pieces from $5 and $10 – yes, $5 and $10! There will be items for women, men, and baby. Our customers loved this sale last year. Things will go fast, so get here early! Doors open on at 10 am on Monday, February 18, and the sale will run through Sunday, February 24. We’ll also have free drawings on Monday. Don’t miss this one!

baby on the way?
Having a baby? Know someone who is? Register at Clothesline Organics for the purest, softest, and the most adorable baby clothing around. We’ll set up a time to help you choose the best products for your little one and provide you with registry cards. And once your baby comes, we’ll have a special gift for you. Call us at 610.691.0111 or email us at kim@clotheslineorganics.com to learn more.

tax rebates and the local economy
Now that Congress has passed legislation to send tax rebate checks to most Americans in order to stimulate the economy, we’re working with the Sustainable Business Network of the Lehigh Valley to get the word out that the best way to stimulate the Lehigh Valley’s economy is to support locally owned, independent businesses. More than a dozen studies have shown that a dollar spent at a local business generates two to four times as much economic impact as at a comparable nonlocal business. If you’re planning to spend your tax stimulus check when it comes, consider making your purchases at local businesses, where the money is more likely to stay in the Lehigh Valley and have an economic stimulus effect.

go to the flow
Last week, Josh and I made it to the Jim Thorpe area, and were lucky enough to follow up our hike with a visit to the newly opened Flow restaurant, which specializes in farm-to-table cuisine—fresh, in-season food from local farmers. If you visit the Emmaus Farmers’ Market or the PA Energy Fest, you’ve no doubt run across 14-Acre Farm and their great vegetables and baked goods…and now they’re behind this really special new dining experience. And without giving too much about the really nice interior away, we’ll just say the place is called Flow for a reason. www.14acrefarm.com/flow07/flow.htm

stop in to see us!
As hints of spring come through, we hope you’ll think of us first for your spring clothing needs. We have great new brands on the way, in addition to the ones you’ve come to love. We’ll help you look great AND feel great. As always, we sincerely appreciate your support!

Remember: Stop by Clothesline’s BIG BIG SALE starting at 10 am on Monday, February 18 for the best deals of the year on your favorite eco-brands. Pieces from $5 and $10 and up! And check back during the sale week as well for additional bargains.
